My parents get this glue called,"Gorilla Glue". It dryes much slower then super glue, but once it dryes it is forever stuck. Well today my mom and I noticed that my sister Grace had already detached the bottom of her flip-flop from the top so I said,"I'll glue them together." so I got out the gorilla-glue and it turned out that the glue had dried in the bottle, but it was only the top that had dried and there was some more usable glue on the bottom. So I decided that I was going to take a butter knife and break the top layery of the dried up glue then just spread it onto the bottom part of the sandle with the butter knife and glue it to the top. Simple right?... Wrong. I tried and tried to break the dried up glue and finnally after 5 minutes of trying it broke a little and then I could break the rest from there. So I was breaking it, and taking a little of the dried glue out. Breaking it, and taking a little more of it out until I could easily get to the still usable glue underneath. By then I had a little glue on my hands but not so much as to worry about it, so I just finshed the job and went to wash the butter knife. As I was washing it more and more glue was getting on my hands, so I finnaly finished washing it and I started to wash my hands. As I was washing them it seemed as though the glue was just spreading all over my hand, not coming off. So I decided to stop and boil some water in the kettle to put into the sink to melt it off... Bad idea. Well first of all the water was so hot that I couldn't even put my hands in it and second of all the glue seemed to be drying, not melting! So by then I started to get frustrated and I decided to just peel it of well, as I was peeling off glue from the back of my pointer finger it started to hurt, but I thought it was just because the glue was so stuck to me, but then I looked closely and I notice I was peeling off my skin!!!!! It looks so gross! So then I made a homemade bandage (Toilet paper and tape) cause I couldn't find the gauze. I was just leaving it alone until now. I was going to bed, but the glue felt so annoying on my hands! I went downstairs and tried to think of what I could use to get it off. I started to think of what I used to take off super glue. But then I remembered that I used to peel off super glue no problem... So then I started to think of things that were sticky and I thought,"Bubble gum's sticky!" and then I started to think of ways to get bubble gum of your skin... PEANUT BUTTER!... So I tried that and it worked! Well mostly. My hands still have allot of glue on them, but not nearly as much as there was before.

That's really funny. Ha, I've gotten that stuff on my hands before too. It makes them feel all dry and itchy. Gross! Well, good thing peanut butter worked! See you later, Caleb. Have a good day!
Yeah it's all off now! Thankfully! But the area that the skin got peeled off still needs to heal.
